Maximizing Sound Quality: Devialet Speaker Placement Tips and Tricks

Can’t stop falling in love with your Devialet speakers? We understand! But what if we tell you that you enhance this whole experience just by changing the placement?

When it comes to achieving an immersive sound experience, the placement of your Devialet speaker is just as crucial as the cutting-edge technology inside it. You want to experience a sound where every note resonates with crystalline clarity, every beat pulses through your veins, and every whisper feels intimately close.

With that said, Devialet phantom speakers are designed to deliver an extraordinary audio experience - and with a little strategic placement, you unlock its full potential.

What’s In The Box?

Before we delve into its placement - you should know what lies inside the phantom Devialet box.

Devialet phantom speakers are wireless devices that can operate independently without needing much - so both the setup and accessories are pretty minimal. They come with a power cord and a dedicated remote control for Phantom I models. This helps in easy volume adjustments in multiroom settings.

Also, they send you a seperate packaging - where they include the Quick Start Guide, Safety Guide & a USB Type-A to micro-USB cable for charging the remote control.

Devialet Phantom speakers have many other accessories. They must, however, be purchased separately. Invest in a Devialet treepod if you want to stabilize your investment. It will be very helpful!

Devialet Phantom Connections - Overview

Let’s take a look at the connections. The Devialet Phantom has an open architecture that enables you to access music.

Physical Inputs and Outputs

The Phantom I and II models have inputs and outputs tucked away behind a cable management compartment -which is connected by a unique power plug that doubles as a trapdoor.

Right above the power plug, there is a push button that powers on and tells you the status of the Phantom. Furthermore, they have optical Toslink inputs for connecting TVs, CD players, or digital outputs, as well as an ethernet port for hardline connections. Phantom II models have an analog input and digital optical input.

Wireless Connections

They are equipped to handle high-resolution multi-room streaming, with 24-bit 48kHz sample rates, WIFI, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and UPnP with external hard drives. Additionally, all of them are Roon-ready.

Custom Home Theatre Installation

To access their high-performance potential, Devialet phantom silver speakers also offer an optical cable option for bypassing their wireless functionality and hardware.

In Optical Direct Mode, all Phantom models support digital music playback at sample rates of up to 24-bit, 96-kHz!
